The assumptions here seem to be:
A: All asexuals are asexual as a result of sexual trauma.
B. Asexuals don’t have a healthy relationship with sex ever.
C. If a therapist tries to convince an asexual trauma survivor to change their orientation, it’s not really conversion therapy even if said asexual has expressed they’re okay and comfortable in their orientation.
D. A therapist trying to convince an asexual who isn’t a trauma survivor to change their orientation never happens.
They are also assuming that recovery from sexual trauma necessarily means regaining lost sexual attraction.
God my blood is boiling. Its surreal how exclusionists claim to be the ~pure protectors of the community~ but constantly let this shit slide. I should just delete all my posts and become an ace positivity blog because ace discourse has the all effects and use of conversing with a brick wall.
