or you can just stand there and pretend that your character and him are having a deep conversation over some lunch while Odahviing just flies around like the energetic young dragon he is
there’s so many interesting things to discuss about tes dragons though?
like alduin’s formation of dragon society then eventually getting too power hungry and instead of ending the world he decided to control it because he believed he was so powerful.
paarthurnax not only rebelling against alduin, who was in the height of his power at the time, but sparking a rebellion among the dragons that made such an impact its echoes live on in skyrim and tamriel as a whole.
odahviing’s honor code of him following the strongest dragon. even when he and other dragons were doubting alduin’s leadership.
durnehviir having to live the rest of his life watching the souls of the dead while living between life and death, going from desiring power through necromancy to simply desiring to see the skies of tamriel again.
I restarted Skyrim recently and I forgot how much crap they make you go through before they let you meet Paarthurnax. And then you get up there and he’s like “but you didn’t come here to talk to an old dov.”
