Transphobes aren’t welcome in the community and certainly won’t be greeted with welcoming arms this pride month. Stay inside, don’t have fun. Bye.
Or go out and get your ass beat, I don’t care.

I work in a the children and teen’s department of a public library. We got a new book on coping with dysphoria, and since I’m the only trans person on staff I decided to read it over.
I’d like to note that it affirms non-dysphoric trans folk and non-binary trans folk as shown above, so I’d recommend it. It’s age-appropriate for the middle school crowd especially.
hot take: hrt, gender therapy and trans surgeries should be free
if cis people don’t have to pay to have a body that doesn’t make them dysphoric, neither should trans people
So by that logic does that mean that I should get anti-depressants and all the other pills for my mental issues for free because the people who don’t suffer from them don’t have to pay to have them?
yes
And does that mean that corrective lenses should also be free, because people with good vision don’t need to pay to see clearly, and that devices to aid in mobility for people with limited mobility (from crutches to (practical) canes to wheelchairs to prosthetics) should also be free, because people who don’t have limited mobility don’t need to pay for them?
yes? why does everyone in the notes keep trying to come up with gotchas lmao everything to do with healthcare should be free

Hey guys. Fellow Player Malu (@Malucomplica on twitter) wants to change her name and gender on her Blizzard account, and they’re acting dismissive and refusing to act on it. She’s being harassed on Overwatch’s forums, not to mention on fb OW groups. It’s absolutely disgusting.
Please, signal boost as much as possible. Let it reach everywhere until Blizzard can’t ignore it anymore. We love Overwatch for its diversity – but if that’s going on, then it’s hypocrisy to a tee.
My dudes. This is a serious business here. We can’t allow a company to act in that way, steamrolling someone’s right to have their legal name on their stuff.
This ain’t art, but it’s probably a LOT more important than anything I’ve posted in this blog. Please RT/reblog/repost.
bad trans headcanon tropes to leave behind for 2018
- trans man binds with ace bandages until a Good Cis Ally gets him a binder
- “this is my buff trans wife and i want her to murder me” and other various phrases that make the association that trans woman = violent
- trans man is in a state of undress when another character walks in on him shirtless, which outs him as trans against his will
- character who is a man (or uses he/him pronouns) in canon gets headcanoned as a trans woman and then in the trans headcanon fanart she’s drawn even buffer and hairier than in canon just to prove how Obviously Not Cis she is
- drawing cis characters like regular people but then stylizing your trans headcanons to emphasize the characteristics of their ASAB
- exclusively headcanoning thin adolescent white boys as trans men
- headcanoning Real, Actual People as trans
- referring to adult characters as “boys” if you headcanon them as trans; infantilizing trans men in general
- not bothering to draw body hair on your cis characters, but always including body hair on your trans women headcanons.
- having cis love interests say anything along the lines of “i love you no matter what parts you have :)” like they deserve a fuckin medal
- only writing/drawing trans characters in nsfw situations / fetishization in general
things nonbinary people have ruined
– overalls
– dad hats
– those round glasses (you know the ones)
– similarly, 70’s aviator glasses
– punk fashion
– piercings
– dyed hair
– big sweatshirts
– the sanctity of the transgender spaces and experiences that people have actually lived through and experienced
feel free to add on
bad post op
Never in my life did I expect a transphobe, of all things to get worked up over, to get upset over nonbinary people wearing clothes.
reblog if you too are an enby that ruined clothes for op’s fragile enbyphobic ass
also I just wanna say but trans headcanons for male characters with kids like Boone and MacCready are so fucking valid especially when it sends cis people into a downward spiral of anger and despair
“Weight Gain On T”
We’re taught to believe fatness as a personal failing. Being trans, of color, aspec, and neurodivergent forces me to re-examine society’s expectations of what a person ‘should’ look like.
We’re not supposed to tolerate our fat bodies. And there’s many lies to make us believe we’re supposed to hate ourselves.
Well, I don’t hate my trans body, just like I don’t hate my fat body! Regardless how or why I’m who I am.
