I really like this clip cause it shows that Gabriel is still in there, that he knows who to shoot. He noticed the guy was unarmed and just left him alone, this pulls at my heart strings you guys you don’t understand. He only kills those who are necessary, he doesn’t kill people at random, he actually thinks about it before pulling the trigger.
That is a really good observation to note! One of the most important things that you learn in a profession where you’re handling firearms, and with military training (as Gabriel definitely did), is that you only shoot those who have the ability to shoot back, in otherwords: they’re a threat to you. It does show that he’s not a mindless killer in ways that some fans have made him out to be–sure, he’s working for Talon at the moment (and we still don’t know the reasons as to WHY) but it’s interesting to note that he’s specifically not shot at enemies who weren’t armed or weren’t attacking him outright.
