The only evidence you need to realize how much Regis hates Syanna (even though he claims he wants to keep her alive). (This is not all serious by the way.)

When Geralt is attacked by Dettlaff the first time: Regis basically teleports the shit out of himself to take the blow.

While slaughtering guards at Dun Tynne: Regis is so fast that Geralt/the player can’t even lift the sword to fight. (I couldn’t deal a single blow. The vampires were always faster than me.) Same goes for him fighting vampires during The Night of the Long Fangs.

When Geralt is attacked by Dettlaff a second time at Tesham Mutna: Regis tackles him immediately and does his teleporting at vampire speed thing again several times, this time to keep himself safe.

When Syanna is attacked: Regis leisurely starts running towards her and Dettlaff. No hurry, no hurry at all. Doesn’t even turn into mist.

Seriously though, the only thing the Blood and Wine DLC was missing was a Regis romance option.

Regis: Gotta make sure I don’t hurt you.
Geralt: Gotta make sure you’re not hurt.
Later
Geralt: You were hurt too much, we should’ve thought of something else.
