I’m at the point right now where I have no sympathy for exlusionist genderists.

Like this is y’alls fault.

When you started letting non-same sex attracted trans people in.

  • You caused homophobia within the community to spike.
  • Trans people calling women, who are oppressed for their gender “cis”. A word that means “Not oppressed by gender”.
  • Caused trans people to think it was okay to force themselves on lesbians/gay men and call them “transphobic” if they wouldn’t have sex with you because you have a dick/vulva.
  • Let trans people trample over LGB issues like marriage equality, corrective rape, and the criminalization of gay sex.
  • Let trans people redefine gay and lesbian sex, calling lesbian’s attraction to vuvlas a “genital fetish”.
  • Made everything have to be “inclusive” for every possible gender anyone could possibly think they were and let straight people identify as “bisexual” because they might date a nonbinary person.
  • Made womyn exlusive issues surrounding their anatomy no longer (liberal)feminist because “SOME MEN DEAL WITH THAT!!!!”
  • Prioritized non-same sex attracted trans people over actual LGB people

And this is what made ace people think they could step all over us as well.

  • Homophobia in the community spiked, once again
  • Ace people calling LGB people, who are oppressed for their attraction “allo”. A word that means “Not oppressed by attraction”.
  • Caused ace people to think it was okay to pressure people into relationships. If you say no because sex is important to you, you’re “aphobic”
  • Let ace people trample over LGB issues like marriage equality, corrective rape, and the criminalization of gay sex.

  • Let ace people redefine what homosexual and bisexual mean to “experiences sexual attraction to ______”. Calls anyone who doesn’t agree an “aphobe”
  • Made everything “inclusive” for every possible a-spec identity anyone could possibly thing they are
  • Made LGB issues surrounding sex and relationships welcome because “PDA IS GROSS!!!!”
  • Prioritizes non-same sex attracted ace people over actual LGB people.

IF YOU STILL CAN’T SEE HOW SIMILAR THESE ARE, YOU’RE THE REASON ACE PEOPLE WANT IN.

Can we just kick twerfs, aphobes, and biphobes out of the lgbtq+ community so we can like,,, not be full of ugly toxic abusers??? :0

How about we “kick out” everyone who’s not same sex attracted so we can like…actually be a coherent community again with shared experiences and no coercion from trans activists for gay people to date people of the opposite sex and no straight people thinking they’re “queer” for not wanting to fuck???

man i hope those free drinks you get at Boystown is worth the bullshit you have to be 24/7

(via How Trans Consultants Saved Dragon Age: Inquisition)

None of this is surprising. I’m very glad they didn’t fuck up Krem the way they almost did, but they still didn’t bother to hire a trans actress.  Then again, it didn’t occur to them to have a black woman voice Vivienne – or to have consultants about racial representation ever, despite their many, many missteps on this front – or to be supportive of their devs/writers who are women or PoC or queer when they’ve been attacked by GG types. Bioware does good superficial diversity, but when it comes down to actually living their commitment, nothing goes below the surface. They used to be better, but they’ve become a company where the decisionmakers are all white dudebros, and damn does it show.

A trans “actress”? What in the fuck??? If Bioware were gonna hire a trans person to be Krem’s VA, he’d be an actor, not an actress! What in the fuck, if you’re gonna talk about transphobia, maybe try not saying something misgendering in your actual damn post

Also what in the fuck is that article’s subtitle, “Inquisition almost screwed up on trans representation”? It already fucking did screw up, there are still ridiculous amounts of transphobia and ciscentrism in the way Krem is handled. It’s just that it’s less grotesque than it could have been. The author of this article (who, so far as I can tell, is a cis woman) is acting like the transphobia in ME:A is a big surprise from Bioware when it’s par for the fucking course with them. Most of the entire article describes how transphobic and disgusting Patrick Weekes (Krem’s author) was for the entirety of the writing process and how he had to be damn near coerced into changing the awful way he wrote Krem, and yet this author thinks it’s any kind of fucking surprise that Bioware was transphobic again later in another game?? The author even goes on to say “While Weekes deliberately wrote Krem as a trans character for cis people,” as if this isn’t itself cissexism, creating a trans character whose purpose is to serve and engage cis people.

Look at this fucking line from this fucking article: “So much of transition in real life is dictated by trying to avoid becoming a victim at the hands of others” UM NO, TRANSITION IS ABOUT A LOT OF DIFFERENT THINGS TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE, AND GENERALLY IT’S NOT ABOUT VICTIMIZATION??? THAT’S WHAT TRANSPHOBIA IS ABOUT, NOT TRANSITION. And that is a bolded quote in the article, like it’s saying something important or relevant or interesting instead of patently false and fear-mongering. Goddamn.

Here’s another quote from the article: “Internal emails from Weekes show that from the character’s inception Bioware’s intention was for Krem to ‘have a female voice actress who has been instructed to act as though passing for a man’, with the idea of hiring a trans man to voice the character never being a matter of internal discussion.” So again, this article is acting all surprised by Bioware’s transphobia while citing explicit and undeniable examples of transphobia. Good job, Article Writer.

That whole article is a mess, and @w4rgoddess clean up the misgendering in your post.

america please import this concept

they are not “androgynous girls”

they are nonbinary. they self-identify as genderless. their fans refer to them as
meishaonian, or “handsome youths.”

the band is called
FFC-Acrush, by the way.

while the Cosmopolitan articles cites the Quartz article, Cosmo at least respects the musicians and their agent enough to use the correct gendered language.

the Quartz article is full of really terrible transphobia and wrong usage of gendered language.

LMAO REBECCA SUGAR IS A RADICAL FEMINIST AND SHE AIN’T TAKING SHIT FROM NO-ONE

Steven Universes new episode Rocknaldo is a reference to trans ideology. Ronaldo is against “rockpeople” (women) but when explained how rockpeople are really Crystal gems, he realizes that he was wrong. Then he insists that he is a Crystal gem (woman) too though he is a human (man). Gems tell him like it is (he ain’t a gem) but Steven tries to be nice and say that yea Ronaldo is a Crystal gem even tho he clearly doesn’t believe that himself. Ronaldo makes it all about himself (like transwomen often do in femalespaces) and tries to tell Steven how REAL gems would act. Steven is nice to him until he snaps and realizes how fucked up the situation is. Like women experience a peak rad moment when they get a bit too much shit from trans idologists.

The episode was perfect I’m both laughing and crying Rebecca did so well. Do talk to me about this I’d love to hear your thoughts on this wether you are a radfem or a genderist!
