Regarding the post made about @takethatzine
As of making that post I had been just about to leave for work and only just now got to see how much the post has garnered attention. It was never my intention for the people running the project to be thrown under the bus with insults, just to express my feelings in a way that was more in depth than a few asks could convey. I want to apologize for any hurt the post may have caused. Never once in my post did I label the moderators fujoshi or terfs, I only explained that the actions taken by those running the event could be considered gatekeeping.
However I did notice that since my post was made, the admins of the zine have been very open to the criticism and I applaud how they’ve handled it.
If any mods or admins would like to speak to me privately they’re more than welcome to.

Like and/or reblog if you’re an ace-spec or aro-spec poc inclusionist! Exclusionists keep trying to claim that our community consists of just white people, and as a result inclusionists are inherently racist. Also, feel free to tell me about your experiences as an a-spec poc and those two parts of your identity affect each other. I just wanna connect with my fellow a-spec poc and prove exclusionists wrong.
What is an asexual sex toy?
In a conversation recently, there was a question about what an asexual sex toy would be. Now, obviously, sex toys don’t have any kind of orientation limitations or requirements, so there’s no such thing. But the question was more, what would an asexual sex toy be, if a company wanted to try to market sex toys to aces?
Feel free to treat this as a serious product design brainstorming session, or as a ridiculous exploration of what a company might think we want based on who they think we probably are.
Largely, aces performing self-stimulation rely on tools that get the job done quick, reliably, and with limited extra involvement. Sex repulsion is diverse, but it largely ramps up either during the act, or afterwards, in forms of anxiety and/or dissociation.
So novelty and designer sex toys sometimes go the ‘extended experience’ route and create models that intend to prolong the session. That’s not useful, if we’re going for something ace-specific.
Go-to tools are by and large electro-stim tools with high frequency. And within them, you’re gonna want to go with tools that are comfortable to use and handle, easy to clean, discreet, and won’t break your wallet.
I imagine sex tools designed and marketed without the flippery, and purely to induce an end as quick as possible.
It’s a good day to be asexual!

So I just read your “It’s all a fucking joke” post about asexuals and as a hetero female I’m pretty uninformed about pretty much all the struggles that were mentioned. Why do people not respect boundaries? I’m genuinely clueless. People suck

Hey there! How’re you doing? I just stumbled upon a post from you from about half a year ago I think it was? You’re venting about asexuality not being taken seriously enough and I can’t tell you how much I agree with you. So, I just felt the need to let you know that I feel you and that I appreciate you voicing your opinion on the matter. Stay strong and if you wanna, message me ♥
Hi there, friend. I just saw your post about what Ace people go through on the daily and I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for going out of your way to put that out there. Thank you for risking your internet safety to try and get all of us some help. You are a shining light in this darkness, and I hope you find nothing but good things in your future. You are wonderful. Thank you so much.
I’m sorry, it’s true, the LGBTQIA+ community doesn’t have enough resources to support ace people
GATHER RESOURCES BY RIGHT CLICKING THEM. TASKING MORE ALLIES WILL GATHER RESOURCES FASTER.
a cool fun fact: headcanoning someone as ace is not “desexualizing” them
my orientation does not desexualize or infantalize me
stop talking down to ace people and telling us that we’re desexualized versions of real people
Addition: If you’re white and you want to talk down to a PoC about how aspec headcanons are racist because they “desexualize PoC”, consider the following:
Stay in your lane and keep your fucking mouth shut
