idk if you can help me with this?? but is the word allo actually not good to use? to me it seems like the equivalent of cis so i’m not rly sure why ppl think it’s bad to use?

the word allosexual is more accurately the equivalent of allistic. aka, not autistic. 

why? because someone can be allistic and neurodivergent, while a cis person benefits from cis privilege no matter any other aspect of their identity.

so you can take that comparison, and spin it further. the autistic community is within the larger neurodivergent community, therefore within autism language there’s a word used to describe those not like them.

moments when i should have realized i was ace; when i discovered that people become attracted to someone when they take clothing off and show bare skin. meanwhile, im like ?????

That reminds me of when I read the comic book, ‘American Born Chinese’ in my first year of high school. The artist narrates himself developing a crush on a girl because he saw her take off her jacket, and reveal her bare shoulders.

And I remember thinking, “…. ?? That’s not how a crush works!” and even to this day, I cannot for the life of me empathize with what’s happening here.

lol god forbid as an ace black woman I make ace headcanons of black women since actual representation is hard to come by (and if they have the same mental health issues as I I’m gonna be even more terrible for it I’m sure). Like the worst ace headcanons for black women I’ve seen were from ppl who wanted to ship their white OTP and sideline a black woman “in the way of it”, using the black woman’s supposed asexuality as a poor excuse, and it had everything to do with those ppl being nonblack/white and nothing to do with them being ace (which they may well not have been themselves) or mogai

but okay. It’s a mogai problem not a racism problem apparently

It’s disgusting to see the lgbt+ community pretend like they’re above racism and ableism, and then turn around and make this sort of shit.

I deserve to see Asian ace/aro people in media, and I’m tired of all these non-Asian people acting like they know better than me.

Ace/Aro representation is important.
